UPDATED: DORMA & Modernfold on Season Premiere of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
An episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition in which Modernfold products are used will be part of this season’s lineup which premieres September 25 on ABC. A very special guest – who we can’t identify yet – helped build a new home for Barbara Marshall and women who live at Steps N Stages Jubilee House in Fayetteville, N.C. – a charity fighting homelessness among female vets.
The program shows how Marshall has followed her own 15-year Navy career by finding shelter and support for women who struggle after leaving the service. Much of her crusade has been financed with her own money. Her efforts have been complicated by her need to care for her own developmentally delayed son and the death earlier this year of her husband and Jubilee House partner.
The new Jubilee House provides critical resources backing the charity’s mission. In addition to the Marshall family, three women veterans and their children live there, and the organization serves more than 30 others each week. Modernfold is proud to have assisted Extreme Makeover: Home Edition in its support of Barbara Marshall as she gives female veterans the tools they need for a new start in life.
The Emmy award winning reality program “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,” entering its 9th season, is produced by Endemol USA, a division of Endemol Holding. It’s executive-produced by Brady Connell and George Verschoor. David Goldberg is Chairman, Endemol North America. Episodes air Sunday from 8:00 – 9:00 p.m., ET on ABC.
