Modernfold offers three panel configurations to meet specific building function needs.
Single panel systems allow each panel to be moved independently into position along tracks that can include switches, curves and right-angle turns, enabling multiple room setups, changes in the location of pass doors and work surfaces, and remote storage. Ideal for applications that require tall panels, single panels systems are often used in multipurpose rooms, exhibition halls and commercial buildings where maximum flexibility is required.
Paired panel systems are well suited for straight-line openings that do not require multiple layouts or remote storage. Hinged together in groups of two, paired panel systems provide quick and easy setup. They’re ideal for applications that require exceptional durability, acoustic control and frequent use. Floor-supported paired panels are available for installations where the existing overhead structure cannot support the partition’s weight. Paired panels are frequently used to divide classrooms, conference or meeting rooms and office space.
Continuously hinged panels are connected in a train, extending as one complete unit. Manually operated, they are the best option for small openings when simplicity, durability and frequent use are the main criteria. And with electric operation, continuously hinged panels provide effortless setup for even the largest openings. Continuously hinged partitions are often used in small office and commercial openings. Electrically operated partitions frequently divide gymnasiums and large multipurpose areas.
The Acousti-Seal line of partitions offers an assortment of options, ranging from various track systems, stacking configurations, fire rating, closure methods, lead jambs and bottom seals to pass doors and work surfaces.
A broad array of vinyl, woven fabric and acoustical carpet finishes in various colors and textures are available to complement any interior design plan. Custom finishes can also be specified.
