Fairview Baptist Church

Before moving into their new home, the Fairview Baptist Church in Greer, South Carolina, conducted services in a 40-year-old, out-dated facility. Years of planning culminated in a new 149,000 sq ft, $12 million campus, with a worship center seating up to 1,500 as the focal point. The latest audio/video technology is built in so services can incorporate organ, piano, orchestra, and praise team instruments, and can project onto screens at the front and back. An administration wing flanks the north side of the center; a library, chapel, music suite, and conference areas are on the south.

Prominent Features

Throughout the church, DORMA Architectural Hardware products were specified for doorways that provide access to the worship center, offices, and gathering areas such as the library and fellowship hall. The DORMA Architectural Hardware ensures that these doorways are safe, secure, easy to use, and longlasting. And because DORMA offers products in a wide range of architectural finishes and trim, specifiers were able to select hardware that perfectly matched the surrounding décor. Installed DORMA products include 9000 Series Heavy-Duty Exit Devices, 8600 Series Door Closers, CL700 Series Cylindrical Locksets, and SKC Serialized Key Control.
