Peninsula Temple Beth El

Religious - The Peninsula Temple Beth El, located in San Mateo, California, features a vaulted ceiling with beautiful wood panels that are engraved with Hebrew scripture. It took two years of careful design and construction to meet the many needs expressed by the congregants. The sanctuary's wood paneling is placed in different pattern configurations to create art out of wood and features a Meditation Room.
The temple is very open and inviting and has an overhead skylight that reflects off the unique interior.

Prominent Features

To separate the large open floor plan Modernfold's 931 was used. Modernfold constructed the door to blend with the woods featured in the Temple. The panels of the moveable wall are also engraved with Hebrew and feature a Type IV pass door that is fitted with glass with its own unique pattern.
